Maintainance (21/Apr/2000): Finally I managed to put myself to work a bit on the page... I've archieved some old gossip sheet entries so far, and I hope I'll do some more work soon. Bye
Sad news (15/Gen/2000): This time, it's a very sad news, the one I have to publish here... Today morning, the great college friend as well as a great friend for many of us, Pietro Poclen, has died from illness. Unfortunatly I don't have any more information about this... and would point anyone to the get directly in contact with the college. Anyone who would like to write something about this, can send it directly to Donald (donaldo@rice.edu). He'll get them all together and then we'll publish it in a new section which will be opened soon (this section will be dedicated to all kind of personal thoughts that people want to share, from personal things to tutorials on some compu. stuff to thoughts about worldwide event and so on).

WELCOME to the page of the 97-99 generation of the United World College of the Adriatic. This is a college situated in the little Duino town near Trieste (Italy) and this page was thought as a reunion place for us (to keep in contact, to communicate with others, to share experiences and material, ...)
But what do we have here?


Home page: This is where you are now. Apart from this little introduction, there is also the Quick search (bottom of the page) to submit directly any entry to the main search engines instead of moving from on to the other. It can also be used as a dictionary or thesaurus choosing the proper service from the list. On this page (usually at the top) there will be also any important/recent/urgent news.

E-address book: This is a list of our email addresses (there are more than 60 now). To submit or modify your email address, you can use the form at the bottom of that page (and if you haven't still done it please do: it's a second!). Just started, you can find also the student profile: a complete version of the address book, with infos and much more.

Gossip sheet: This is the virtual version of the old paper based Gossip sheet. Here everyone will be able to read and send messages for the rest of us. Send a message from time to time telling us how you are... ;)

Photo album: I think the name is quite self-explicative. At the moment we have 23 photos and many more will arrive (I hope). There is a short desciption of each so that you can choose which to download.

Chat room: Our own personal chat room: just fix a time to meet and chat with the other UWCADers! Have fun!!! ;).

Links: This is a collection of useful links regarding the college and its people but not only. For example you can check there for a free email service or some place to send news. That's all for now but I'd like to make it bigger. For example for now there are only the usual international news sites and I'd like to have some other both in english and in other languages for whom would like to hear some particular news or the 'others' opinion, or for who would like to read news in his/her own language or about his/her own country. To submit links you can use the form at the bottom of that page.
