ICQ: a very useful software for Internet (expecially to keep in contact) that let you see who is online and send them a small message. Now it's full of other services as well.
Internet Explorer: one of the most famous brower for Internet by Microsoft now at the version 5.0.
mIRC: the most common program for chatting (via IRC)
Netscape Communicator: one of the most famous browser for Internet now at the version 4.6.1. It included also a simple program to write pages for Internet (in HTML) and to read email (if your service accept POP3/IMAP) and some other things.
